Santa Cruz Boutique Hotel?

We are often asked where the Santa Cruz boutique hotels are.  In many towns there are boutique hotels that cater to savvy travelers who want something different than what the mid-range motel or chain hotel has to offer.

People call our bed and breakfast a boutique hotel.  We are very  attuned to understated and elegant design.  Our place is beautiful and quiet. Our rooms are all different and our beds are the highest quality available.   But with only a handful of rooms we can hardly be considered a hotel.

The truth is that Santa Cruz does not have a very diverse stock of  lodging options.  There are many mid-range and low-end hotels and motels and one large hotel at the beach and wharf. The traveler looking for a boutique alternative is left to try one of town's B&B's.
