Rooms and Rates The Mission Room Sleeps 2 (1 Queen bed) In the middle of the house with south a facing window that looks out to our big rear courtyard and fountain. The only room in the house with the original 17" thick adobe walls and clear Redwood floors, this sweet old fashion room is the innkeeper's favorite. The bathroom is large with a deep antique claw foot tub and sit-down hand shower. This is a great room for bath lovers. Bed: Queen size natural latex pillow-top bed. Room Size: 180 sq. ft, 12 ft. x 15 ft. Bathroom: 7 ft. x 8 ft. Single Mexican tile sink, tub, hair dryer. Floor Coverings : Tile and Redwood. Other furnishings: Desk, TV-DVD, chair, nightstands, iron, ironing board, desk fan, clock radio/CD and speakers for your iPod.
The Fireside Room Sleeps 2 (1 Queen bed) At the back of the house and has a private entrance off the patio. Individual Heat Control. Barrel ceiling with ceiling fan and a romantic gas fireplace heater (turned off in summer). This is our smallest and most cozy room with old Mexican tiles throughout. It has our most deluxe bathroom with single whirlpool bath tub and separate tile shower. This room and the Retreat are across the hall from one another and are perfect together if you need 2 rooms. Bed: 1 queen size natural latex pillow-top bed. Room Size: 150 sq. ft, 11.5 ft. x 13 ft. Bathroom: 7.5 ft x 8.5 ft with whirlpool bath tub and separate shower, hair dryer. Floor Covering: Tile. The Retreat Room Sleeps 2 (1 Queen bed) Very private. It is our second largest room and has a gas fireplace heater (turned off in summer) and two big leather chairs to relax in. Individual Heat Control. This room has a window that opens onto an internal patio with a fountain. The Retreat and The Fireside are across the hall from one another and are often reserved together by those who need 2 rooms. Bed: 1 queen size natural latex pillow-top bed. Room Size: 216 sq. ft, 12 ft. x 18 ft. Bathroom: 7.5 ft x 8.5 ft with whirlpool single bath tub and separate shower, hair dryer. Floor Coverings: Carpet in bedroom, Tile in bathroom. The Lookout Room Sleeps 2 (1 Queen bed) Our only room on the second floor and is therefore very private. Individual Heat Control. It is filled with light from three large casement windows. There are lovely views to the garden and downtown Santa Cruz beyond. At night you can hear the bells of the Civic Auditorium a few blocks away. This is actually a suite with an outer room with a love seat. Beds: 1 queen size natural latex pillow-top bed. Room Size: 300 sq. ft, Main: 11 ft. x 22 ft. Outer: 7 ft. x 8 ft. Bathroom: Double sinks, large shower, greenhouse window, hair dryer, no tub. Floor Coverings: Carpet in bedroom, Tile in bathroom.
