Breakfast at the Adobe on Green Street From 8:00am to 11am each day we serve a deluxe continental breakfast so you can come and go as you please and set your own morning pace. Our breakfast buffet is in the dining room where you will find tables for two overlooking our gardens and downtown Santa Cruz. We use the freshest ingredients and serve organic food when possible. Our morning menu includes: -Fresh baked scones. -Fresh bagels with cream cheese, home made jam, almond butter or lemon curd. -Organic hard cooked eggs. -Organic yogurt, soy yogurt. -Granola, organic milk, organic soy milk. -Fresh fruit (from our trees in season). -Orange juice, tea, coffee, decaf, hot chocolate. Bon Appetite! How Beautiful are Your Eggs!Folks who have stayed at the Adobe have asked us about the beautiful hard boiled eggs we serve each morning. They are inspired to ask us about the wonderful egg shell colors: green, blue, olive, brown & almond. In the summer our eggs come from chickens raised by our friend Tanya. She has a small brood of happy chickens. They roam free and roost in the trees in the Soquel hills just east of us. The beautiful green and blue eggs come from Tanya's Chilean Araucana chickens.
